Job summary

SERVPRO of Central Delaware County is seeking dependable team members to respond to property emergencies and help restore homes and businesses to their preloss condition. This role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work on-call evenings, weekends, or holidays. Training is provided; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous restoration or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance; climb ladders and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities such as water extraction, drying, and demolition.
• Load and inventory work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, findings, and requirements to the team on site.
• Maintain clear communication with clients about the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction and site cleanup.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
