Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a dedicated restoration professional to respond to emergency situations and perform restoration tasks in residential and commercial properties. You will work with a team to extract water, dry sites, and perform cleanup, using specialized equipment as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and helping communities recover from damage, with opportunities to grow skills and advance within a nationwide franchise network.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as water or fire damage.
• Perform restoration tasks including water extraction, drying, and cleanup.
• Set up and operate specialty equipment and assist with demolition.
• Load and inventory vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and site findings to supervisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
