Job summary

PuroClean Emergency Restoration of Avon Lake is seeking a dedicated Project Technician to join our field team in Elyria. You will support restoration work on residential and commercial sites, ensuring customer needs are met with compassion and efficiency.

Responsibilities include disaster response, equipment setup, moisture mapping, and safe debris removal. Flexible schedules and a team-focused environment help you grow professionally while serving customers in times of need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Restoration experience preferred but not required.
• IICRC certifications, including WRT and/or ASD, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, demolition, fire restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying and restoration equipment.
• Perform moisture mapping and document job progress.
• Remove affected drywall, carpet, flooring, insulation, and other materials as needed.
• Assist with pack-outs and handling customer belongings.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers.
• Maintain clean, organized jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and shop areas.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Participate in the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation.
• Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
