Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore in Oregon seeks a Fire & Packout/Structure Cleaning Technician to care for customer belongings and restore structures damaged by fire or smoke.

This role is physically demanding: lift 50–70 lbs, stand, and participate in on-call rotations with possible weekend shifts. Benefits include medical/dental insurance, 401(k) with employer match, 9.5 holidays + PTO, uniforms, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check back to age 18 and a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have an active Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Clean, pack, and move customer belongings with care.
• Perform detailed cleaning and laundering in our facility.
• Handle fire/smoke damage remediation: pack-out contents, remove non-salvageable items, assist with cleaning and demolition as needed.
• Execute post-construction, odor, upholstery, trauma, biohazard, and COVID-related cleaning tasks.
• Document all job activities with photos, notes, and forms in the company software.
• Report equipment issues, customer problems, or damage to supervisors.
• Complete tasks per company processes, maintaining quality control.
• Participate in on-call rotation and potential weekend/overtime shifts.
