Job summary

SERVPRO Evansville is seeking a Priority Responder Estimator to promptly respond to disaster recovery opportunities in our territory. You will be the first face-to-face contact, building trust with property owners and explaining our emergency services.

The role requires a professional, empathetic approach, with 7:30am-5pm hours Mon-Fri and occasional 24/7 on-call during severe weather, plus participation in community events with the marketing team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in emergency response fields such as insurance adjusting, fire or water restoration, or related agencies.

Responsibilities

• Meet with property owners following water damage, fire, mold, or bio incidents.
• Educate customers on emergency response services and our offerings.
• Sell services and secure job opportunities; assist marketing with community events.
• Be on-call 24/7 during severe weather periods and participate in after-hours rotations.

We are the leading and most recognized brand in the emergency services and restoration industry and we are seeking a Priority Responder Estimator to join our growing team of professionals.

The Priority Responder Estimator works independently to respond quickly to disaster recovery and restoration opportunities within our assigned franchise territory area.

Job Summary

The Priority Responder Estimator works to help generate revenue opportunities by meeting directly with property owners following a water damage, fire, mold, or bio situation event. The Priority Responder Estimator is our first face-to-face contact with our customer and must be professional, confident, empathic, and reassuring in order to build a trusting relationship with the customer. The Priority Responder Estimator would also collaborate with our marketing team to participate as needed in community awareness events and programs in promotion of the brand. The hours would generally be 7:30am-5pm M-F; however, on occasion they would need to be available as needed 24/7 during severe weather periods (3-4 times per year) and to also to serve on the after-hours on-call rotation team once training is completed. This would be for 7 days (Mon-Sun) every 8-10 weeks. There are additional bonuses paid to be on-call.

Duties

• Be familiar with the business geographic territory
• Responsible for educating customers on emergency response services
• Communicate our many services to the affected property owner
• Willingness to learn new technologies, software, and write emergency service estimates
• Establish and maintain positive professional relationships in the local community
• On-call availability 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as needed or required
• Ability and willingness to sell our services - SECURE THE JOB
• Assist and collaborate as needed with our marketing team
• Achieve and remain current in required safety and/or emergency response certifications
• Be a solid brand ambassador for the business.

Skills And Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience REQUIRED in any of the following or combination thereof: Insurance Adjusting, Fire or Water Restoration, Military, Fire Service, EMS, Police, 911 Dispatching, or Governmental Emergency Response Agency.
