Job summary

Express Employment Professionals-Shawnee, KS is recruiting a Restoration and Reconstruction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial restoration projects from scope through completion. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field-based construction PM experience, familiarity with restoration/insurance work, and proficiency reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field-based construction experience as PM or Superintendent.
• Experience in restoration or insurance reconstruction preferred.
• Experience with commercial and single-family projects is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage restoration and reconstruction projects from initial inspection and scope development through estimating, procurement, construction, quality control, and closeout.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trade partners, and field crews across active job sites.
• Develop detailed repair estimates and negotiate scope approvals with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and change orders to keep projects profitable and on track.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
• Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Respond to emergency/storm-related project needs as they arise, including some after-hours coordination.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams, clients, and insurance partners.
