Job summary

Berglund Construction is seeking a Project Manager - Restoration to lead complex restoration, preservation, and adaptive reuse projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality while cultivating strong client partnerships to drive repeat business and satisfaction.

You’ll report to the Vice President and collaborate with leaders, field personnel, and project teams across Berglund Construction, focusing on delivering elite projects and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience with emphasis on restoration, preservation, or renovation.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Historically informed about preservation standards and restoration practices.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
• Proficiency in project management software: Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.
• OSHA knowledge and commitment to job-site safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead restoration and preservation projects from award through final completion.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and production controls.
• Direct project teams including superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and staff.
• Coordinate complex phasing, tight access, or occupancy requirements on sites.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Oversee closeout, punch lists, warranty follow-up, and final documentation.
• Lead client meetings, track cost forecasts, and present schedules.
• Review bids, negotiate contracts, and manage pay applications.
