Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support restoration projects in Richmond, VA. This role collaborates with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure preservation standards and building-code compliance while assisting with schedules, budgets, and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and 3+ years in construction, with proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Familiar with restoration techniques, materials, and historical preservation guidelines.
• Strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam or MS Project and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the day-to-day management of concrete and masonry restoration projects.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to gather technical data and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, quality assurance, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Track project materials, equipment, and deliveries to maintain efficient workflow.
• Assist in preparing estimates, take-offs, and proposals during the pre-construction phase.
• Document project updates, change orders, and issues that arise during construction.
• Help ensure that all work meets historical preservation standards and local building codes.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with field personnel to resolve technical issues and support effective communication between the field and office.
