Job summary

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC in North Attleborough, MA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support restoration projects, help prepare schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and essential documentation.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, conduct site visits, track materials and deliveries, assist with pre-construction estimates, and ensure compliance with historic preservation standards and local codes.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with restoration techniques, materials, and historical preservation guidelines is preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and historical documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • On-site work and travel to project locations; OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in the day-to-day management of restoration projects.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to gather data and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality assurance, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Track project materials, equipment, and deliveries to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, take offs, and proposals during the pre-construction phase.
  • Document project updates, change orders, and issues that arise during construction.
  • Help ensure that all work meets historical preservation standards and local building codes.
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to resolve technical issues and support effective communication between the field and office.

This position will report to our office location in North Attleboro, MA
Salary $30/hr-$50/hr
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Familiarity with restoration techniques, materials, and historical preservation guidelines is preferred.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and historical documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-site as needed and travel to project locations. OSHA 30. First Aid and CPR Certification.
Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.

Working Conditions

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
