Job summary

African American Talent is seeking an entrepreneurial Restoration Operations Manager to launch and lead a new restoration division in Nashville. You will oversee water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, mold remediation, and emergency response, building a scalable operation from the ground up.

You will recruit and develop the field team, establish processes, manage customer relationships, and drive profitability with an ownership mindset and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, remediation, or related home services.
• Strong leadership with ownership mentality and field-team collaboration.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Solid business acumen across revenue growth, budgeting, and margins.
• Ability to identify growth opportunities and build strategic referrals.
• Experience with water damage, fire/smoke restoration, mold remediation, and emergency response.
• IICRC certifications or equivalent credentials.
• Familiarity with estimating software and insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Launch and lead the new restoration division, including water, fire, mold, and emergency response services.
• Develop scalable operational processes and systems.
• Build referral networks with homeowners, property managers, and professionals.
• Oversee day-to-day project execution, timelines, budgets, and profitability.
• Recruit, hire, and develop field technicians; foster a culture of accountability and safety.
• Ensure superior customer experiences and manage communications during restoration events.
• Coordinate with insurers and adjusters through claims process.
