Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Mitigation Estimator to manage estimates for water, fire, mold, and storm restoration projects. You will develop accurate scopes of work and ensure compliance with client and insurer guidelines, while delivering detailed estimates and maintaining high service levels for property owners, insurers, clients, and vendors.

Role requires collaboration with project managers, field teams, and external resources, plus travel to local job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of restoration estimating, water/fire mitigation, and/or insurance adjusting experience.
• Strong customer service skills for stressful loss events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers, adjusters, and teams.
• Proficiency in estimating software and familiarity with insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships for mitigation services.
• Educate customers on restoration processes, timelines, and next steps.
• Assess property damage and understand immediate needs, safety concerns, and upgrades.
• Ensure all estimates and scopes align with client requirements and carrier guidelines.
• Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and time for restoration projects.
• Create accurate sketches and initial scope of work for mitigation and restoration.
