Job summary

Suffolk County Water Authority in Oakdale, NY is seeking a Restoration Inspector to oversee and inspect the restoration of roadways performed by SCWA Contractors within the Construction Maintenance Department.

The successful candidate will collaborate with municipal agencies, prepare field sketches, issue materials, and ensure compliance with project drawings. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with salary range $62,000–$72,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of working knowledge of the construction industry, specifically road construction.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface with contractors and work outdoors.
• Candidate must possess a valid NY State driver's license.

Hours for the position will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 am -3:30 pm.
