Lightspeed Restoration in the Austin area is seeking a Restoration Field Technician to handle water damage mitigation and mold remediation. You will work under a Crew Chief or Project Manager in a supportive, team-centered environment.

No restoration experience is required as training and certifications are provided from day one. The role focuses on hands-on work, customer care, and safe operation of tools, with career growth into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Hands-on or mechanically inclined background.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and protocols.
• Comfortable learning and using mobile apps for job documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Water Damage Mitigation: operate pumps and wet vacs; monitor drying equipment; take moisture readings; light demolition; establish containment.
• Mold Remediation: set up negative air pressure containment; remove mold; apply antimicrobial treatments; HEPA-vacuum and wipe surfaces.
• General Field Duties: safe operation of tools; detailed cleaning; handle customer belongings; communicate clearly with homeowners and office; document with apps; maintain clean job sites.
