Job summary

RAM Construction Services is seeking a Restoration Estimator / Business Development professional in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by pursuing commercial restoration opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and delivering accurate project estimates for commercial projects.

You will be the primary link between customers and RAM Construction Services, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and supporting projects from initial contact through contract

Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• . Minimum 3-5 years of estimating experience within commercial restoration, concrete repair, or related construction fields
• . Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• . Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• . Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• . Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and develop long‑term customer partnerships.
• . Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure commercial restoration opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, consultants, engineers, architects, building owners, facility managers, and general contractors.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support division growth.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and capability statements.
• Represent RAM Construction Services in a professional manner while promoting company services and capabilities.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop detailed proposals, budgets, and scope reviews.
• Assess project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies.
• Maintain estimating records and support continuous improvement of estimating processes
