Job summary

VALLEY CLEANING & RESTORATION INC / PUROCLEAN OF TULARE is seeking an experienced Restoration Estimator to produce accurate, insurance-compliant estimates using Xactimate. You will work with Insurance Adjusters, Project Managers, and Technicians to ensure complete, well-documented scopes of work aligned with field operations and PuroClean standards.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate and restoration estimating.
• Experience in restoration estimating or insurance-related roles.
• Understanding of restoration processes (water, fire, mold, reconstruction).
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates in Xactimate for water, fire, mold, and storm losses.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage, document conditions, and determine scope of work.
• Create Xactimate sketches, line items, notes, and supporting documentation.
• Review carrier estimates and identify scope gaps or discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters to explain scope, pricing, and supplements.
• Update estimates as project conditions change and submit supplements when necessary.
• Maintain organized claim files including photos, moisture readings, and notes.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure estimate accuracy and execution alignment.
