Job summary

Walker Consultants is seeking Restoration Engineers II for Seattle, WA. You will perform forensics, restoration, and building envelope work, developing repair documents and engineering reports under the guidance of a licensed engineer.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CSI and Bentley software, Enercalc, Tedds, Procore, Bluebeam, and Autodesk, with 15% travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field plus one year of experience in structural design, forensics, and restoration engineering required.
• Required/ Specific Skills: AutoCAD, Revit, CSI design software, Bentley design software, Enercalc, Tedds, Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk.
• Some telecommuting permitted.
• 15% local domestic travel to project sites required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine forensics, restoration, and building envelope work using standard civil engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Develop repair documents and write engineering reports.
• Work under supervision of a licensed engineer who will assist with difficult problems and new aspects of assignments.
