Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working and/or managing projects in the forensic and/or restoration fields, with recent condition assessment reports and restoration construction docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing structures to identify deficiencies.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others.
• Monitor progress, budget, and adherence to standards across projects.
• Develop repair schemes and recommendations; maintain project documentation.
• Manage multiple projects and teams including engineers and technical personnel.
• Promote restoration and forensic engineering services to clients.

In this role, you'll evaluate existing structures, develop repair strategies, and oversee restoration efforts. We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage multiple projects while contributing to our culture of excellence and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing structures to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration.
• Critically analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others.
• Monitor progress of projects, adherence to project requirements, and closely track budget and procedural standards.
• Perform or review condition appraisals, develop repair schemes and repair recommendations.
• Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software.
• Manage multiple projects and teams, including engineers and technical personnel.
• Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients.
• Assist with training less experienced staff in a variety of roles.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working and/or managing projects in the forensic and/or restoration fields, must have recent experience preparing both condition assessment reports and restoration construction documents
• Strong writing, communication, and team skills.
• Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Willingness to travel.
