Walker Consultants in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a licensed, experienced professional to lead forensic engineering, restoration, and building repair projects. You will manage client relationships, oversee investigations, and deliver repair strategies across high-rise, historic, and infrastructure projects.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, strong communication, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
• Professional license in architecture, structural engineering preferred or actively pursuing licensure
• 5+ years of experience preferred in forensic engineering, structural restoration, building repair, or related consulting fields.
• Strong writing, communication, and team skills.
• Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing buildings to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration.
• Assist with developing project proposals and reviewing agreements.
• Participate in quality control processes.
• Monitor progress of projects, adherence to project requirements, and track budget and standards.
• Perform or review condition appraisals, develop repair schemes, and provide repair recommendations.
• Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software.
• Manage multiple projects.
• Market and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
