Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Ability to read engineering plans and assist in cost estimates for bids.
• Willing and able to travel across Chicagoland, Central Illinois, and Northwest Indiana with own transportation.
• Must be 18+ with a valid Driver’s License.
• Class C CDL for Illinois or ability to obtain within 3 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction work including natural restoration, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water service.
• Oversee Natural Resource staff assisting with construction activities.
• Oversee subcontractors on construction sites.
• Work for municipalities, subdivisions, and private clients.
• Knowledge of native ecosystems is a plus.

Education

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources or related field
