Job summary

SERVPRO Team McCabe is seeking a Restoration Crew Chief to lead restoration projects and guide technicians in fire and water damage responses.

The role emphasizes coordinating processes, ensuring safety, and delivering a positive customer experience. Training and development opportunities are available, with potential industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication with basic math and computer skills needed.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.

• Thoroughly document restoration projects to support the services provided.
• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control; this is a labor-intensive position.
• Identify safety hazards, communicate and establish control measures to ensure safety of occupants and workers.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
• Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects; protect and use equipment and materials properly.
• Assist with hiring as well as coach and train restoration technicians.
