Job summary

SERVPRO of Calvert County/St. Mary’s County is seeking a Restoration Crew Chief to lead on-site restoration projects and serve as the front-line representative of the SERVPRO brand.

You will coordinate, monitor, and perform work activities to fulfill service needs and ensure a positive customer experience. You will supervise restoration technicians, guide daily production, and maintain clear communication with the project manager and office staff regarding progress, safety, and asset protection,

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction.
• Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
• Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on progress and issues.

This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
• Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities
• Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
