Job summary

ERVPRO Team McCabe is seeking a Restoration Crew Chief to coordinate and perform restoration projects while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction. You will lead technicians, manage production, and document work thoroughly on fire and water damage jobs.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering the SERVPRO Here to Help commitment, with opportunities for training and industry certifications as part of our development program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly, with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.

• Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction; communicate expectations to technicians and supervise activities.
• Thoroughly document restoration projects to support services provided.
• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled; this is a labor-intensive position.
• Identify safety hazards and establish control measures to ensure safety of occupants and workers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction Communicate clear
  expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities
• Thoroughly document restoration projects support the services provided
• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control, this is a labor intensive position
• Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
• Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
• Assist with hiring as well as coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

• Effective written and oral communication with basic math and computer skills needed
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law required
• Valid driver’s license required
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
