Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in Chandler, AZ is seeking an intermediate carpenter track level 2 to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. You will build skills in framing, trim, cabinetry, insulation, and restoration tasks under experienced supervision.

Candidates should have strong carpentry fundamentals and be comfortable using common tools; on-the-job training is provided. Night/weekend work and travel may be required as part of project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic carpentry and tool handling.
• Ability to follow directions from experienced carpenters.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel periodically.
• Able to maintain safety and use MSDS protocols.
• Capacity to protect contents and manage time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust and contaminants in the work area.
• Perform floodcutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Develop material knowledge for trims, doors, cabinetry.
• Develop proficiency in insulation installation.
• Develop under supervision knowledge of framing, trim installation, cabinetry installation.
• Learn and understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes.
• Attend safety training courses as required.
