Job summary

BELFOR Franchise Group in Chandler, AZ seeks an entry-level Carpenter (Level 2) to support reconstruction projects. You will work under experienced carpenters, move and protect contents, and contribute to framing, insulation, cabinetry installation, and related tasks.

This is an on-site, on-the-job training role with BELFOR methods. You may work nights and weekends and travel periodically. A strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals of carpentry and tool usage.
• Ability to follow directions from experienced carpenters.
• Willingness to learn on-the-job in a restoration environment.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from a supervisor and work with a crew.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging and labeling.
• Develop material knowledge related to trims, doors and cabinetry.
• Assist in installation of insulation and cabinetry.
• Learn framing, trim installation and roofing material installation.
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation.
• Attend safety trainings as required.
