Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Progressive Carpenter helper to join our restoration team in Chandler, AZ. This role focuses on on-site reconstruction support, learning carpentry fundamentals, and following BELFOR methods under supervision.

You will assist with containment, framing, insulation, trim installation, and safe handling of materials, while traveling as needed and meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals of carpentry and tool usage.
• Experience coordinating small crews.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
• Commitment to BELFOR safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from experienced carpenter and supervisor.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust and contaminants in working area.
• Use BELFOR methods to perform floodcutting, salvaging and labeling.
• Develop material knowledge related to trims, doors, cabinetry.
• Assist with insulation, framing, trim installation, and cabinetry installation.
• Dry-in building with roofing material installation under supervision.
• Learn MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes.
• Report time worked and equipment and consumables used accurately.
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses as required.
