Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking Restaurant Team Members (Cashiers & Kitchen) to join Miss J's Cafe inside the travel center at 1021 Poplar St, Wellsville, KS. You will greet guests, take orders, handle transactions, and help prepare quality food in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Walk-in interviews are held weekdays 11am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn menu items and recipes.
• Comfort handling cash and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take orders with a positive attitude
• Ensure guests receive correct, high-quality orders promptly
• Handle cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately using a POS system
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally
• Cook and assemble food orders following Miss J's recipes and standards
• Prepare beverages including root beer floats and soft drinks
• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment in kitchen, dining, and restroom areas
• Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
• Perform opening, mid-shift, or closing duties as assigned
• Work with fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
• Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
• Be willing to assist in other tasks or roles when necessary

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm inside our travel center located at 1021 Poplar St, Wellsville, KS.

Job Summary
