Job summary

LV Petroleum is hiring restaurant team members (cashiers & kitchen) for our A&W location inside the travel center in Fairview, KS. Walk-in interviews are held weekdays 11am–4pm at 801 W 1ST ST, Fairview, KS.

Roles include customer service, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Responsibilities cover greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Friendly, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be punctual and team-oriented.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 15–25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take orders with a positive attitude.
• Ensure guests receive correct, high-quality orders promptly.
• Handle cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately using a POS system.
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally.
• Cook and assemble food orders following A&W recipes and standards.
• Prepare beverages including root beer floats and soft drinks.
• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment in kitchen, dining, and restroom areas.
• Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed.
• Perform opening, mid-shift, or closing duties as assigned.
• Work with fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
