Job summary

Del Taco is seeking Team Members in California to provide an outstanding guest experience, assist with food preparation, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met. You will take orders, explain menu items, and handle cash using the POS system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler certification may be required.
• Able to stand and walk for 95-100% of shift, able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of menu items and can explain them to guests accurately.
• Use POS to record orders and collect payment.
• Adheres to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations.
• Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
