Job summary

Del Taco is seeking Team Members to provide an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. You will be trained to manage point-of-sale transactions, prepare food to brand standards and maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant atmosphere.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred and a willingness to obtain a Food Handler certification if required.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through.
• General knowledge of computers, POS systems desired.
• Ability to perform basic business math skills. Cash handling skills desired.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate, develop and maintain effective relationships; read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Explains menu items accurately to guests.
• Uses POS system to record orders and collect payment.
• Adheres to food safety and sanitization standards.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Makes recommendations to improve restaurant operations.
• Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant.
