Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring restaurant cashiers to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. You will handle payments, take orders, and help maintain clean, safe food service areas.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. Responsibilities include taking orders, balancing cash, preparing orders at various stations, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS and register systems.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food orders and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Balance a cash register and promote additional sales to customers.
• Prepare orders across kitchen stations (sandwich, fries, grill, etc.).
• Ensure food safety conditions and sanitation throughout shift.
• Cross-train in other departments (Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance).
• Move and lift up to 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
