Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a restaurant cashier to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain a clean work area, process payments, and ensure high-quality food service. No experience needed—we will teach you!

Responsibilities include taking orders, balancing a cash register, preparing orders across stations, and following food safety practices. You may cross-train in other departments and lift 25+ pounds in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including taking customer food orders, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register and offering additional sales opportunities to customers.
• Accurately and safely prepare customer orders from various preparation points within the kitchen to include a sandwich line, fry station, grill station, or other station.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety conditions within the restaurant to deliver a fresh and safe product.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety conditions within the restaurant to ensure delivery of a fresh and safe product to the customer.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
