Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Williston, ND is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to support daily cafe operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain food quality. The role involves taking orders, serving customers, preparing items, and ensuring fast, friendly service.

Responsibilities include cash handling, order accuracy, cleanliness, inventory support, and teamwork to meet café standards. Walk-in interviews occur weekdays from 11am to 4pm at our travel center location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders, accurately enter them into the system, and ensure customer needs are met.
• Assist customers in selecting menu items, offering suggestions, and answering questions about the menu.
• Ensure customers receive their orders promptly and with the highest quality of service.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalated issues to management if needed.
• Prepare food and beverages according to Miss J’s Café standards, including sandwiches, salads, soups, and other menu items.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, ovens, blenders, and toasters, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper food storage and organization in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Ensure all food items are fresh, properly portioned, and meet café quality standards.
• Keep the dining area, kitchen, and prep areas clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.
• Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handwashing, food handling, and cleaning procedures.
• Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately.
• Provide change, issue receipts, and assist with any other payment-related tasks.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer by following cash handling procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring food supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Notify management when stock is running low or when supplies need to be reordered.
• Help with receiving and organizing deliveries, checking quality, and ensuring proper storage of products.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow during shifts.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up or closing the café, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, food handling, and customer service standards.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to ongoing learning about café operations.
