Job summary

Papa John's International, Inc. is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to perform workstation duties and ensure quality products and service. You will follow Papa John's standards and uniform policy, support team operations, and assist with orders and cash handling.

The role includes fast-paced customer interaction, health and safety compliance, and occasional delivery support. This is a non-exempt, hourly position requiring flexibility for shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years old or older to perform certain duties.
• Must be able to work long hours including nights, weekdays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned workstation duties including making quality products and preparing ingredients.
• Provide quality customer service through positive interaction with customers in person or by phone.
• Process transactions using the FOCUS System and handle cash/credit card payments.
• Deliver food from kitchen to customers' vehicles quickly and accurately.
• Follow sanitation and food safety principles to ensure hot, safe food delivery.

Job Summary

The Restaurant Team member performs assigned workstation duties to ensure quality products and service are delivered to our customers meeting Papa John's standards. Comply with Papa John's uniform, appearance, and operations standards as defined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, Team Member Handbook, and with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, taking orders, providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers by phone or in person, and acting with a sense of urgency in everything they do.
• Work as a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Enhance the company’s image by complying with uniform and appearance standards. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun.
• Accurately use the FOCUS System, process cash, and/or credit card transactions. Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order. Protect the company’s assets by maintaining organized, safe and clean work areas; complying with safety and security standards at all times.
• Responsible for quickly and accurately delivering food from the kitchen to customer’s vehicle.
• Follow proper sanitation and food safety principles and ensure that the food is delivered hot to customers outdoors.

Education, Experience & Certifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
• Successful and stable employment history
• If cross-trained as a delivery driver, must have a driver's licence valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, acceptable motors vehicle record, proof of insurance, as tax factory vehicle, and the ability to drive
• Bilingual incentive markets
• Non-exempt, hourly position
• Provide additional documentation as required by individual states
• Must be 18 years old or older to perform the following duties at Papa John's: pizza load in, oven tending, pizza cutting, dough doc king, dish washing, and pizza delivery
• Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, while including nights, weekdays, weekends, and as emergencies arise
