Love’s Travel Stops is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead staff, manage daily operations, and execute strategies that boost sales and customer satisfaction. You will work with the Restaurant Manager to ensure efficient processes and strong team performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on operations, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million.
• 1+ years deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to work various shift times (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Valid driver’s license and pre-employment background check/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, well-maintained facility and adhere to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management and food prep.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash handling, and reporting.
• Prepare and package customer orders promptly to maximize service quality.
• Understand financial reporting and influence changes to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
