Shift Leader (Restaurant Team Lead / Crew Lead / Shift Manager)

The Shift Leader is the face of the restaurant during their shift and is responsible for ensuring each guest walks away having a remarkable experience. This role is offered on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in daily activities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant.
• Encourage the team to uphold 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Provide immediate and respectful responses to guest needs.
• Assist in training new hires, set a positive tone for the shift, and act as a role model.
• Maintain a friendly, encouraging team‑player attitude.
• Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize the day’s financials.
• Exhibit excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is highly helpful.
