A shift leader is a crucial part of our business and the face of the restaurant during their shift, responsible for ensuring each guest leaves with a remarkable experience.

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day‑to‑day activities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant.
• Offer the team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Offer immediate and respectful responses to guest needs.
• Assist in training new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for the team.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, and act as key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize the day’s closing.
• Maintain excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is very helpful for success in this role.
