Arbor Day Foundation in Nebraska City is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Supervisor to lead restaurant and lounge operations, mentor team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting on the Arbor Day Farm Campus. You report to the Restaurant Manager, collaborate with Culinary, support scheduling and inventory, and help weddings, conferences, and seasonal events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage leadership experience.
• Experience in a bar, lounge, or bartending environment required.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced restaurant while balancing guest experience, team development, and execution.
• Strong understanding of front-of-house operations and effective cross-team communication.
• Passion for hospitality and the Foundation's mission.
• Team-first mindset with strong coaching skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and assist team members in restaurant and lounge operations.
• Be present on the floor, coaching in real time and maintaining service standards.
• Engage with guests to ensure they feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
• Support scheduling, staffing, opening/closing, beverage ordering, and inventory.
• Partner with Culinary to coordinate front- and back-of-house operations.
• Lead during peak periods, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.
• Model the Foundation's core values in performance and behavior.
