Job summary

Magnolia Houston Hotel is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the designated Food and Beverage Outlet team and ensure guest satisfaction with smooth daily operations.

You will assist with scheduling, inventory, hiring tasks, and reporting while maintaining a safe, pleasant work environment and upholding hotel policies. This role is on-site in Houston and requires flexibility and strong communication to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Flexibility is required; the role is demanding with variable days and hours.
• Experience providing service to others is essential.
• Excellent phone skills are needed to handle guest inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Ensures supplies are properly stocked; assists with ordering supplies as necessary; assists with coordinating inventory control.
• Utilizes labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Assists manager with new hire and termination paperwork.
• Participates in staff meetings and agenda.
• Reports any needed repair immediately to Maintenance using correct procedures.
• Ensures proper bookkeeping and resort policies are followed.
• Responsible for daily reports and manager log book entries. Performs restaurant staff duties as necessary.
