Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor in Algonquin, IL. This full-time role focuses on the daily front-of-house operations, leading dining room staff, and delivering quality service. Hires and trains team members under the Director of F&B.

You will manage POS operations, inspire frontline performance, and uphold sanitation standards to pass audits and inspections, ensuring residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary training or extensive front-of-house experience preferred.
• Comfortable with technology and POS systems.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, family, and guests.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.

Schedule: Full-Time

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the front of the house, providing professional leadership and direction to dining room personnel. Hires and trains employees, under general direction of the Director of F&B.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing suggestions and implementing ideas on improving the efficiency of service
• Maintaining and managing the point of sale system
• Overseeing front of the house labor and food presentation
• Ensuring passing scores in state, local and 3rd party sanitation audits and inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with residents, family members and guests that we serve
• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• College or culinary training preferred, or extensive front of the house experience
