Job summary

MLY Investments, LLC, operating Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers locations across Iowa, seeks a Part-Time or Full-Time Shift Supervisor for Westdale. You will lead a team during shifts, ensure quality food preparation and guest service, and drive a positive, fast-paced work environment.

Experience and Skills

As a Shift Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and support your team during assigned shifts


• Ensure quality food preparation and exceptional guest service


• Provide coaching, direction, and motivation to team members


• Foster a fun, fast‑paced, fulfilling work environment


• Assist with operational responsibilities, including inventory, scheduling, and team performance


• Contribute to sales and profit goals

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant shift supervisor or leadership experience


• Passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding guest experience


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality


• Ability to motivate, train, and hold a diverse team accountable


• Organized and able to manage time and priorities effectively


• Familiarity with financial reporting, inventory management, and scheduling preferred (Brink experience a plus)


• Positive attitude, team‑first mindset, and eagerness to grow

REQUIREMENTS

• Evening availability — must be able to close the restaurant


• Dependable and punctual


• Ability to stand/walk for shifts (up to 8–10 hours if needed)


• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs


• Comfortable with bending, stooping, and occasional ladder use


• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members


• Background check required
