Job summary

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Shift Supervisor to lead and support the team during shifts, ensuring quality food and outstanding guest service.

This role offers hands-on management training, opportunities for advancement, a supportive environment, and benefits such as next-day pay, PTO, and a 401(k) plan. Evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant shift supervisor or leadership experience
• Passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding guest experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to motivate, train, and hold a diverse team accountable
• Organized and able to manage time and priorities effectively
• Familiarity with financial reporting, inventory management, and scheduling preferred (Brink experience a plus)
• Positive attitude, team‑first mindset, and eagerness to grow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIREMENTS

• Evening availability — must be able to close the restaurant
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts (up to 8–10 hours if needed)
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Comfortable with bending, stooping, and occasional ladder use
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Background check required
