The Asian Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible to supervise a shift team and be responsible and accountable for administration, operation and the direct management of the Asian Venue. This position reports to the Asian Restaurant Assistant Manager & General Manager.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and assist with the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
  • Responsible for overseeing inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
  • Overseeing development of servers, host, cashiers and utility staff. To include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
  • Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
  • Review departmental status with Manager.
  • Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
  • A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.

  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or Asian language.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Preferred 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a supervisor role in a dining facility.
  • You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
