Job summary

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level manager to grow into a Restaurant Shift Manager. You’ll lead crew, ensure friendly service, and uphold quality standards while maintaining a positive atmosphere on shift.

No fryers or alcohol service on site, but opportunities for advancement and weekly pay with benefits, including health and 401(k). Training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work on occasion nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read and interpret the crew handbook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew with excellent, friendly, and upbeat customer service.
• Make subs and operate the register during shifts.
• Perform cleaning and scheduling tasks on shift.
• Motivate and guide team to deliver great dining experiences.

Each of member of our crew makes subs. We will teach you how to make a sub, but we need leaders to guide our crews. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you set the example of excellent, friendly, and upbeat customer service, and lead the crew through your shift. For this reason, we look to hire Restaurant Shift Manager with previous restaurant experience who are, fun yet firm when necessary, up-beat, and are leaders that motivate others.

Along with leading the crew, your day to day could include making subs, running the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift duties.
