Job summary

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC in Mentor, OH is seeking an entry level Restaurant Shift Manager to lead the crew, model upbeat service, and guide daily operations with a positive attitude.

You’ll train team members, handle subs and register duties, manage scheduling, and ensure a clean, friendly dining room. A valid driver’s license and ability to work nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you set the example of excellent, friendly, and upbeat customer service, and lead the crew through your shift. For this reason, we look to hire Restaurant Shift Manager with previous restaurant experience who are, fun yet firm when necessary, up-beat, and are leaders that motivate others.

Along with leading the crew, your day to day could include making subs, running the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift duties.
