Job summary

McDonald’s in Virginia seeks a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and guide a team toward excellent hospitality and performance. You will manage labor cost, inventory, safety, and cash procedures while supporting the General Manager to meet store goals.

You will coach crew, ensure quality food production, and help with hiring and retention. 18+ required; prior leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred in a restaurant/retail environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
• Shift Manager responsibilities include leading shifts and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift teams to ensure fast, friendly service.
• Manage labor cost, inventory, and cash procedures daily.
• Enforce safety and security policies across the restaurant.
• Coach and follow up with crew to maintain excellent operations.
• Support the General Manager in achieving store goals.
• Oversee departments such as Kitchen, People or Guest Services.
• Assist with hiring, staffing, and retention initiatives.
