Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run our fast-paced kitchen and dining area. You will lead staff, ensure smooth operations, and execute strategies to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

You will manage food prep, inventory, and daily reporting while coaching teammates to deliver exceptional service, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and upholding Love’s standards in a busy travel stop setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic computer tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift/move items over 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning kitchen adhering to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through effective ordering, stocking, inventory management, and prep.
• Support the General Manager with daily tasks, safety practices, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members to meet packaging and customer service standards.
• Ensure dining room cleanliness and proper maintenance of restaurant equipment.
