Job summary

Wendy's in Rochester, NY is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to oversee a team, ensure quality food and customer service, and uphold brand standards during your shift.

You will lead crew, monitor safety, manage inventory, and support scheduling while driving profitability and guest satisfaction. A ServSafe or equivalent credential is preferred, with opportunities for growth within the Wendy's family.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/managerial role in restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant crew during shift, delegate tasks, and coach team members.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers and resolving issues.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reconciliation.
• Maintain food safety standards, proper storage, and sanitation.Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Create and adjust shift schedules to cover business needs.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
• Monitor sales and expenses to meet targets and improve profitability.
• Communicate with management and kitchen staff to coordinate operations.
