Love’s Travel Stops in Minnesota is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to guide staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage ordering, food prep, and adherence to safety standards while supporting the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) for reporting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on customer satisfaction.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving items over 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with proper food-safety practices.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management and prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in order picking, packing and customer service.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and proper maintenance of restaurant equipment.
• Ensure cash handling and daily/monthly reporting accuracy.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained
