Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help oversee daily kitchen operations and staff performance. You will coach team members, ensure timely order preparation, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards to deliver top-notch service.

You’ll work with the General Manager to execute strategies that boost sales, maintain inventory, and provide exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting or moving of items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging orders to maximize customer service.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
