Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help manage staff, ensure smooth daily operations, and boost customer satisfaction at our Illinois location. You will lead dining-room and kitchen activities, coach team members, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and accuracy in orders.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting items over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Intermediate level computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting or moving items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
